As Halloween quickly approaches, so does the horror. Universal Studios Hollywood will be holding its annual after-hours event from Sept. 4- Nov. 2.
Universal among locals is known for having the best houses all around, and they may potentially be correct. This year, the selection of houses have much more variety than the previous, standing out more than usual due to substantial amount of various popular franchises.
Terrifier, a series known for their gruesome gory scenes, will be getting its own house this year. With that, Universal or David Leone wanted to go all out by making the house as “grotesque” and. . .wet as possible.
Universal states: “Witness Art’s gleefully grotesque handiwork of torture. You’ll be left literally dripping with terror and drenched with fear.”
(Spoiler for the Terrifier house): Every, if not all rooms will get you splashed with blood! (In reality, it’s water.) Then, it will ensure an uncomfortable experience with scented areas taken to another level. A bathroom scene will smell purely putrid and of bodily waste. You would not want to miss Art the clown’s work!
On a more or less gory side, Five Nights at Freddy’s will be coming back for a second year but instead as a House. In 2024, the animatronics were located within the Dreamworks theater, only to showcase the animatronics which were featured in the 2023 movie. This time, you will be hunted down by Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy themselves while making your way down creepy hallways.
Many fans of the game series are thrilled at the idea of seeing the furry friends in person.
Overall, from the scare zones to houses, Halloween Horror Nights will not be something to miss! From 7:00 pm to 1-2:00 am, the scares and thrills will be unforgettable!
