A crash Saturday night on August 24th on interstate 15 in Temecula, killed four people when a BMW went over a concrete median and hit an oncoming car. Authorities said that a black BMW M4 was driving north on the freeway north of the Winchester freeway exit and was driving recklessly. According to California Highway Patrol, the BMW swerved to the left going over the concrete dividers and onto southbound traffic. The BMW smashed into a white Nissan Sentra and was quickly engulfed in flames.
The BMW was driven by a 25-year-old male from Moreno Valley, with a 23-year-old woman in the right front seat and a 14- year- old boy and a 15-year-old girl in the back seat, all three killed in the car. Good Samaritans pulled out the 25-year-old, who sustained major injuries and was taken to the hospital.
A 35- year-old man who was driving the Sentra was pronounced dead on his way to the hospital, and the passenger in the Sentra, a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
Officials said that alcohol was not involved, but the CHP are investigating the collision. The charges on the BMW driver were pending.
