Short answer is no. No, it is not worth visiting Super Nintendo World.. ONLY if you intend on visiting the area. In 2023, Universal Studios Hollywood had opened Super Nintendo World for all to enter! It was huge for Americans, since the only other area was located in Japan, but that is inaccessible to most due to costs. But as of now, there are three locations! In Japan, Hollywood, and Orlando.
The focus is on 2023 Hollywood. So many American fans of Mario were thrilled at having the ability to see the Mushroom Kingdom in person. From childhood dreams to reality: Super Mario was real. Thousands rushed to go to see the kingdom, and only to see the kingdom… leading to eventual disarray.
Many were overjoyed once stepping into the themed world, soaking in every nook and cranny inside. While others… were bitter. Annoyed, if you will. It did not compare to Japan.
Japan’s place is much different, with two floors, a larger area, even an entire attraction that wasn’t in Hollywood. It is reasonable for people to be upset.
It really does depend if you’re a Nintendo fanatic or not. Not saying people are “real” but enthusiastic fans wouldn’t really care on how it’s designed. The place is real! From video game to real life! If you have some form of fixation onto Mario… you don’t even have to go check out anything else. Nintendo World is MADE for you. If you don’t really care… just explore the rest of Universal Studios and Nintendo World! It’s a great place to have fun, and Universal in general is the best amusement park.. ever. (NOT BIASED ๐ ) BUT, if you are an insane Nintendo Fan… keep your hopes down the drain. Your mood will be soiled comparing Orlando/Japan to Hollywood. Just spend all your money to a trip across the country.. or world.
