In August of 2025 something unexpected happened–all of a sudden a DC character named “Booster Gold” has had a massive surge in popularity due to many edits of him on TikTok and news that director James Gunn is working on a Booster Gold TV show, which made people wonder who should play Booster Gold? So many people think the actor Shayne Topp should audition for the part and I agree since he resembles him and sort of acts like him.

The character Booster Gold though is a very interesting individual. He was once a popular football star but then his career ended so he thought of himself to be a loser until one day he was at a superhero museum and decided to steal a superhero suit that has built in powers and go back in time to the golden age of heroes to work alongside the Justice League.

During his time as a hero he would only care about being famous and wealthy at first so many heroes called him “selfish” and never wanted to work alongside him but over time Booster Gold develops morality and so he starts to actually save people and nothing else and he eventually becomes best friends with another hero by the name of Blue Beetle.

Booster Gold’s superpowers include super strength, flight, energy blasts, enhanced vision, advanced force fields, and time travel, the only reason he gets to use his powers is due to the suit and technology from the future.
