The song “Red Dirt Road” by Brooks & Dunn was released July 15th in 2003. A red dirt road is a road from county roads or rural areas, and  anyone who has seen or heard knows about red dirt roads and how those areas don’t paint over the dirt.

The song talks about how he grew up on this road but it is more than that, this road in life that people have in their lifetime is very true. The lyric goes “Down that red dirt road, it’s where I drank my first beer, it’s where I found Jesus.” Everyone has their own pathway from the start of their life to the end of their life. You have experiences, you meet people and you keep in contact forever, while some fade as you go on your road. You meet that teacher you forever love and keep in contact with, same thing with a friend or someone else, you have events that just shape you, you discover things like sports and songs. You may have sad or heartbreaking experiences, but down this road it starts from the second you are born to the second you die, you decide your road, you don’t get to make every decision some things are already decided like your name. However if you ever listen to this song in my opinion it reflects your journey so far and i always go back in time and think until present day.

In conclusion it is just my opinion but that this song can be very special, maybe have a listen and see.
