Homecoming flew by as fast as it was anticipated, and it was one heck of a ride! There’s so much and so little to talk about, so I’ll mention the first thing on my mind: THE LINES.
Just getting in was absolutely horrible. I had arrived with friends at 6:45, expecting to get in at least at 7:20 despite the line. Not only did we get in more than half an hour late,, it was one and a half hours to get inside the vicinity. My mood was immediately dampened once we entered at 8:10pm. But! The fun can’t just end in complaints! So to the first ride!
Round Up, a ride which tilts people over to the side & is about 1-2 minutes long. was the one of the best things of the night. Very fun, kept on sliding and thought I was going to fall.
After that we went to get a drink! It was pricey, $8 for a custom lemonade is a bit crazy, but it tasted good.
It was a blur after that. From waiting in even MORE lines, leaving because of the time, to sitting down and eating free food! Lovely part.
There was so much to do but with so little time. It felt more like a waiting party than an actual dance!
Despite my attempts of redeeming the place, it was fun. Okay-fun. Was it really worth $60? No. Homecoming 2025 was okay at best.
