Last week was a Spirit Week with several themed dress up days. Monday was color wars, where each grade level dressed in a color that represented their class. Seniors showed off black, while the juniors wore white, sophomores sported gray, and the freshmen lit up in red, kiicking off the week with the competition between the classes showing off their class pride.
It continued on Tuesday, where the students get to choose between 2 pop icons, Adam Sandler versus Alix Earle. Choosing Sandler has more oversized clothes and more laid-back style alongside trendy and polished outfits inspired by influencer Alix Earle. Wednesday’s theme was Aloha Day, which gives a tropical vibe to the school with students wearing their favorite Hawaiian shirts, leis or any other floral patterns. Thursday, Tiger Pride Day, was in the spotlight encouraging all students to wear red, the school’s official color. Wrapping up the week was one of the coolest, but funny themes. It’s ‘anything but a backpack’ day. Students can carry their books and everything else from their backpack in anything from a laundry basket to a cooler, turning students’ heads to see how creative they got.
Sprit Week is to encourage students to participate, show school pride, and allow students to have fun outside the classroom. Teachers and staff along with the students celebrate sprit week.
