The 26 year old standout defensive end/linebacker Micah Parsons who used to play for the Cowboys now Plays for the GreenBay Packers in a shocking trade made by GM and owner of the Dallas Cowboys Jerry Jones. This trade was very unexpected and was very controversial, now being the main talking point in sports. During his time in Dallas he earned three All Pro honors from the Associated Press and in 2021 was the defensive rookie of the year, the first one in Cowboys history. Micah Parsons became a fan favorite very quickly in Dallas and during his contract negotiations the fans made it very clear they did not want to lose Micah; every chance they got to voice their opinion, they did. Even retired ex Cowboys player Michael Irvin said the Cowboys have to pay Micah Parsons if they want to be Super Bowl contenders. Although it seemed to be a no brainer to sign him there is talk about the Cowboys winning this trade. There is no doubt Micah Parsons is a problem in pass protection but how about in the run game? With a very impressive sack percentage and being tied for 5th in the league for most sacks his total tackles is average in the league and did not help an already struggling defense against the run.
