First Homecoming Dance as a freshman! 

With Homecoming less than a week away, the excitement is starting to build, especially for the freshman class, who will experience the tradition for the very first time. The upcoming dance shows us not just a time to dress up and have fun, but also a way to feel like part of high school.

Students have heard stories from juniors and seniors about how the school campus will turn into an area filled with lights, music, and school spirit. While some freshmen admit they feel nervous, most say they are more excited.

Since I’ve never been to a dance in high school before, I don’t know exactly what it will be like. But I’m looking forward to being with my friends and making memories.

Homecoming marks the first big event of the school year, and for the class of 2026, it will be the start of many more to come. By next week, freshmen will finally see what it’s all about, and that this first homecoming will be a night to remember.
