Fortnite OG Map Came Back

New Season: November 3 – December 2
Fortnite OG Map Came Back

We all miss those days when we were kids playing video games when we would come home from school and hop on to play with our friends. Well Fortnite has FINALLY listened to us after a few years. They brought back the OG Map from Chapter 1 Season 5 and began the start date of the season on November 3, 2023 and the ending date on December 2, 2023. I remember playing with my cousin when I was in middle school at the time and would play for hours. Fortnite has reached 44.7 MILLION players and 102 MILLION hours of playing. After six years since the Battle Royale game Fortnite was launched, it broke its all-time-one-day player record by going back in time. The launch of the OG Map brought back OG players like Ninja, and many others that were streaming online who were shocked seeing the map and bringing back memories that were never forgotten. Many of the vaulted items such as the Pump Shotgun, Assault Riffles, and the OG Chug Jug came back in the game. Some familiar landing spots in the game also came back like Dusty Divot, Tilted Towers, and Salty Springs, etc.  It was nice feeling those memories and reuniting with my cousin and reliving the memories I made when I first started the game. During the game it would change each week and would  change to a different layout of the map. Fortnite also had some glitches throughout the game because of how many players were playing, logging on and getting into queues in the game. The longest queue I had to wait in was 7 minutes and a few seconds. Many other players had to wait a few minutes to a few hours just to log onto the game. The battle pass is not long due to the short amount the season is. It has 7 pages and I have completed 3 so far. I’m so happy Fortnite brought back the OG map. I can relive my childhood again like when I first played the game.
