Taylor Swift Announces Upcoming Album The Tortured Poets Department During Grammys Speech

Taylor Swift won the best pop vocal album for her Midnights album at the Grammys. Taylor thought it would be nice to announce what’s been up her sleeve for the past two years. Her new album “The Tortured Poets Department” is releasing on April 19th. Fans thought that Taylor would announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version) due to all the darker outfits, red carpet looks, her color scheme on Instagram, and changing her profile picture to black and white in the past month. Nope, Taylor announces a new album. It has a total of 16 tracks including a bonus one, so 17 in total. She has two featured collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine. Fans think this album was supposed to be released before Midnights and after Folklore / Evermore. Fans also think this album is about Taylor’s past ex Joe Alwyn who allegedly cheated on Taylor with someone else. I’ve been a fan of Taylor’s for years but I’m not upset or disappointed at a new album I just wanted a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement. I have a feeling she’ll announce it when she’s in Tokyo for her continuing Eras Tour from last year. Here’s the track list of Taylor’s new album↴
