This Thanksgiving is a bit different than others because my parents won’t be in town because my dad has surgery on his prostate. It is very sad we have had many health complications this year with my dad that it’s getting harder to keep up with. He is on all kinds of medication and it sucks we have to experience it as a family. They will be gone and my siblings are all not cooking material, they don’t cook at all. So I was very sad until my boyfriend planned our own Thanksgiving with his family. I was nervous and excited because it’s new to me but I’m happy I get a break as well of no school.
