A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Oceanside on Tuesday morning. The quake struck around after 1 AM and was about 37.5 miles southwest of the Oceanside coast. The National Weather Service had no clue that the earthquake would occur.
