As most know, starting April 1st, 2024, fast food restaurants will be raising their employees’ pay from 16 to 20 dollars an hour due to the new California law. This law requires the places to pay their employees that much despite what they think and if they want to or not. With this raise employees will be expected to work harder, however most facilities will cut hours significantly and lower staff count causing more stress on the employees so it makes it wondered, is the raise worth it?
