The city of Oceanside aims to have the majority (roughly 80 percent) of the Pier open on May 10, 2024, from the pier’s base to beyond the restrooms and the fish washing station at the last “offset.” The damaged far west end of the Oceanside Pier will remain closed and fenced off until further notice, as debris removal and reconstruction will soon be underway.
