The story of the “Maison Margiela” GAT replica formally know as the German Army Trainer goes something like this. Adi Dassler started a company named Adidas, and his brother Rudolf started his own company called Puma. In the 1970s the Germans commissioned the two to create a shoe for the military. Though the shoe was never used its still a big statement in fashion today.
