Recently I read Animal Farm by George Orwell and it was alright. I read 1984 in English and it was really good, so I had high expectations. At the beginning of the book it was fun. The animals were being underfed and were treated cruelly by humans. The animals then revolted against the humans and formed their own farm. At first, all animals were equal and they were fair. Then, a pig named Napoleon secretly trained dogs to be evil and he took over the farm. He used the dogs to scare anyone who wanted to disagree. Then, he started changing rules and nobody did anything. At the end, the pigs become the people they said they wouldn’t. I don’t like the ending to this book because it’s boring. I feel like it should’ve ended with the animals either overthrowing Napoleon, or the humans came back.
