From March 20th-March 24th a bus of 30 students and 2 advisors made the trip up to Sacramento for the annual FFA state conference. This year it was held in Sacramento again at the Golden One Arena. This year Chase Weiland was a finalist in his proficiency area and was recognized on stage in front of over 7000 people! The trip itself was so fun, with visiting the Capitol building and getting to sit in on a meeting and just exploring the city around us. Although each session was very long and most of the times boring, being with friends and creating memories with people from other chapters and advisors is always the best part. Me and my roommate spent our nights watching “Ice Age” and all the sequels, laughing and eating snacks. Although the drive up was very long and the drive home felt even longer, it was a great last state conference.
