After years long production and many rescheduled release dates, the Five Nights At Freddy’s Movie will finally be premiering on October 27th of this year. If you don’t know, Five Nights At Freddy’s is a popular video game franchise that debuted its first game in August of 2014. You play as a night guard in the infamous Five Nights at Freddy’s pizza place full of haunted animatronics, missing kids, and tons of dark secrets, paving the way for a generation of horror fans across the nation. According to the creator of the game, Scott Cawthon, the movie has been in the development stage since 2015 but the trailer had to be delayed in 2020 due to Covid-19. The trailer did not disappoint though since they hired actual VFX artists to handcraft animatronic costumes instead of CGI, which tends to be the norm for movie productions nowadays. And it seems like the movie will be replicating the first game so it’s recommended to watch a theory video or a summary beforehand to have the best fan experience.
