For the past week I have been trying to compile a list of scary movies to watch with my friends, but I cannot find any actual SCARY movies. Many movies nowadays are just tense or suspenseful, but not shaking and screaming, covering my eyes, type of scary. I know there are many other people who also feel this way. A lot of the movies coming out are more comedy than they are scary. Many of the times I look up scary movies to watch, and they are all either very mainstream movies I have heard of, or seen multiple times and are redundant. So if anyone knows of any good scary movies I am all ears. I think that it is time for people to start making genuine, fear inducing movies again, so that the search for movies is not so hard and is instead fun and lighthearted.
