Vet Science

Vet+Science

Vet science is a class taught at Elsinore High School. It teaches the students how an animal’s body works. The animals that we have at school are puppies, dogs, pigs, goats, birds, a donkey and a few more. Students that we have asked love the class and find it very interesting, along with saying it’s an easy class to pass. Jocelyn is one of the puppies who is so cute and a bit of a trouble maker.

One thing the students believe could be improved is the smell, but over all it is a great class to be in, they love doing labs and interacting with each other. Ms. Leak has been teaching for 14 years, but vet science has only been a class for 8-10 years, and from what I can see she is an amazing teacher! Though they have had to watch “weird animal” videos and do a few other questionable things is seems like a very interesting class. The farm is open to the students though the students that go there are in agriculture. So I recommend this class and be aware because spots fill up quickly.
