This Friday afternoon, I had the pleasure of performing with our school’s BSU officers at a talent show to celebrate black history month. The event was hosted at Lakeside High School where we had food, souvenirs, and met other club members from different schools. Our act in the talent show was just a dance to the song “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5, but we made it more interesting by dressing like we were from the 60’s. Vibrant shirts, bell bottoms, we had it all. But my pants were way too long and I almost tripped so many times. Luckily we completed our act without any issues, and it was super fun getting to cheer on the other very talented performers. Despite it being a little tiring, I’d say this night was a 10/10.
