As you know, Elsinore has an amazing band program, including the marching band. This amazing group of kids are working hard to have a good season, learning music that gets played at football games and pep rallies, as well as preparing for their parades, with the first one coming up on October 7th. Their first performance was August 25th at the pep rally, which went pretty good, although the football game was a different story. Throughout the entire game, so many things went wrong. The Color Guards’ halftime show got cut off because cheer and drum line took too long, and their music didn’t even get played. Then, the DJ continued to play over the band during the game, especially when the band played Eye Of The Tiger near the end. The DJ didn’t stop the music, so not only were they playing over the band but that made the band unable to hear each other. At the end of the night the band was annoyed but everyone still had a fun time.
