After gay activists protested an opening of a pop-up site in 2019 in London, Chick-fil-A is preparing to open a store there in 2025. Chick-fil-A announced Thursday the 14th that they would open their first store in London in early 2025 and open 4 more over the next years after that. Each store is expected to employ 80-120 people. The new stores will also be the first stores outside of North America. In 2019 they changed their focus on charities to organizations for education, homelessness, and hunger. The fast-food chain plans to invest $100 million into the UK. They also plan to open more restaurants in Asia in 2026.
