This semester is like a slap in the face, a reality check. Last semester I had MSJC Political Science and did absolutely nothing during the class period and did everything on my own time, so the class was just a free period to do whatever I wanted. I napped, I read, watched movies, and worked on other classes. Even when doing actual work for that class we only had like four assignments every two weeks. Being in AP Macro this semester has already made me miss my period of nothingness, and the switch to having to stay awake and do actual work in class and homework has hit me like a train. I’ve done more assignments in the past week for macro than I did in two months for Poli Sci; the work load difference is insane. The actual work itself is not difficult, just time consuming. I think having Ms.Jefferson as the teacher is making all the time and effort worth it. I don’t think I have written this many notes since I took AP world with Ms.Druck sophomore year.
