Verbal abuse ranges from excessive name-calling to manipulation. 2 out of 5 children are verbally abused not only by parents but also by siblings and grandparents. Constant abuse from the people who are supposed to love you the most is a mental strain and may lead to self-harm as a sense of control. It’s not easy to speak up about abuse, but there are a lot of households that live under constant attack.
