Ms. Spink and Ms. Forcible

In the movie, while visiting the other world, Coraline goes to the other Ms. Spink and Forcible show. In their show they do different stunts and perform a song and I’d rather not get into detail because if you’ve seen the movie… you know.

But in the book, Coraline is chosen as a volunteer and they position an apple on her head and throw a knife after being blindfolded and spun around, she survives.

In the movie, Ms. Spink and Forcible own a LOT of Scottie dogs with the very creepy trend of having them stuffed wearing angel costumes they design for them. An important part is in the movie, the other dogs don’t talk. They attend the audience of the other Ms. Spink and Forcible but they don’t speak. In the book however, one dog speaks to Coraline to inform her of the next show. And the fact that they forever have next shows. They perform 24/7 without breaks EVER. Very creepy and I LOVE IT.

• Extra Detail: the beldam doesn’t show up in mirrors. Her explanation? Mirrors can never be trusted 😉 very creepy=very cool
