House M.D. is a fascinating show about a fictional hospital in New Jersey as Dr. Gregory House is a medical Sherlock Holmes. The show contains 8 seasons, all adventuring through the hospital as House plays mind games with his colleagues while still solving medical cases.
But, what do people think about the show as is?
Analyzing reviews, we can see mostly positive reviews. People praise the show, finding House funny as a character and how Hugh Laurie portrays the character in a hilarious light. People find his sarcastic and blunt nature funny. Some people find strength in the show being able to show complex medical cases and ethical dilemma in a good way.
However, the lower reviews point out issues in the show. Some say that House is the only redeeming quality of the show. Some also state that the actual diagnosis being found out so late is anti-climactic, and how the patients’ symptoms always morph into seizing, heart attacks, etc. People also say the episodes are repetitive and always the same.
At the end of the day, there are pros and cons. But, in my opinion, House M.D. is an amazing show and everyone should give it a watch.
