protesting
[prəˈtɛstɪŋ]
the expression of disapproval of or objection to something
Recently, our school had a couple of walkouts protesting ICE, and I myself participated in the latest one. ICE’s multiple acts considered unjust or corrupt have led to walkouts such as these and even more widespread protests. Said walkouts are conducted by children, highschoolers to be more exact. The problem with ICE has grown so bad even children have risen up to participate in them. This has led to President Donald J. Trump being seen as an evil man, due to his choices with ICE.
Even more recently, the Superbowl’s half-time show, which was conducted by Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican singer who was popular for singing in Spanish, was seen as so terrible by ICE supporters and Donald Trump himself, so that even a whole other channel was created for a different halftime show.
