TOMODACHI LIFE IS OUT! More so, has been out. It has been more than amazing.
I’d say my excitement is equivalent to someone who was enjoying Animal Crossing during its prime. Aka: far too fetched. Even though it’s been out for about 5 days, I have 30 hours already on it. Most of those hours have mainly been building and decorating my island. It looks like a cutesy little neighborhood!
Tomodachi Life is a family-friendly game where you take care of customizable characters named Miis and watch as they prosper and create relationships amongst each other!
As an avid Tomodachi Life fan for about 9 years, I’d say its a pretty darn good game!
First thing I noticed was the improvement in customization. It was as if the amount of everything tripled. From hair to tiny accessories, you don’t realize how great the designs are now until you revert and see how unbelievably basic the first looks were.
Next are the flexibility for relationships! In the earlier games, you could only hope by luck that the people you want to interact has an urge to speak to each other or are forced to meet by a friend. Now, as they roam free across the island, all you as their leader have to do is grab one of them and lead them to the other! Easy! Woo!
Last is the freedom. So much free will is given to each mii, allowing them to talk how they want, walk how they want, and venture how they want. Again, in the past, they were trapped in their building as if it was a jail. You could see them at places, but never interact with them yourself. Now, snatch them up and have your fun with every place you design.
Overall. I will be playing it, I am playing it, and I played it.
