Being a baseball pitcher can be tough, from learning different pitches and knowing how to use your fingers for different types of pitches, and of course the accuracy on the pitch and how hard you can throw a certain pitch. Obviously being consistent is one thing but doing it from a young age is important; playing through high school and trying to get to the MLB can be tough. But the reason it is tough on the body is because injuries can kill your arm. Pitching over 3,000 innings can be brutal on the body, pitching once every 5 days can still be tough, and that’s why this position not just in baseball but in all sports deserves respect. The amount of injuries and how short your career can be and how hard is to be a pitcher definitely can make it a hard career but a rewarding one.
