Oh my days. This is the best thing that had came out of 2026 and I strongly believe it will remain that way.
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream’s release date was announced on January 28, deeming it coming on April 16. I had it preordered it just days later after the overview trailer came out (Feburary 2), and have been IMPATIENTLY waiting for the potential demo. Now, after over 50 excruciating days, a demo came out. It is AMAZING.
I had woken up for school at 6:00 and saw it came out for the Europeans and every other continent except for the Americas… until another 20 minutes passed! I ran to my switch and downloaded it as fast as possible. Got ready as fast as I physically could at that time and began to play. Oh my deary GOODNESS its outstanding.
You are only allowed to make three miis for the demo, but you do get a great look at all of the customization features! I made my three main characters that I draw: Justin, Mark, and Luis. They each look so cute!! I was able to make them look pretty accurate compared to the original creator…
The interactions? SO funny. It can go from talking about you (the watcher) or even the state of the world. The humor is unintentionally immaculate. Hundreds of different dialogue, and it still feels like it’s not enough.
My love for this unborn game cannot be thoroughly explained in text. If you enjoy cozy-ish games, get it. NOW.
