It was not fun.
A practice test for potential college credit, a way to momentarily get out of class, and a time to test your knowledge. My friends and I had to sign up, just to see how we would do and YOLO it.
Well…
It was more of a “lets do it for fun” at first; looking at some videos talking about what it would be like. …Questions that I ended up having absolutely no clue what could possibly be the answer. That led to eventual panic. At this point it was two days before the PSAT, and I was scrambling to find any help on (mostly) math questions (because I can’t do math for my life) and soon did the practice test.
Well. The results weren’t the best.
Then I began to panic even MORE, as the test soon reached the next DAY… then in the following hours… and then it was time.
Unprepared, and somewhat scared for my academic career, I went in with three of my friends with low and somewhat high hopes.
In the end.. it was alright. I am PREEEETTY sure I did horrible on the math part, but I’m confident in English..! By at least a little. I had never been so locked in and out at the same time, especially when the morning announcements happened. I could not focus the entire time it went on and lost about 3 minutes of time by my ears forcing me to take in every detail the announcer spoke. Knees were weak, arms spaghetti.
Anyways. TAKE THE PSAT! Will update if I get my score. IT’LL PROBABLY BE WORTH IT.
