October 31st. A day for candy. Scares too, but mostly candy.

This year, my group decided to match! As Hogwarts students to be exact! I was a Ravenclaw, Sophia was a Gryffindor, Katie a Hufflepuff, and Charles.. the Duolingo bird?

Well. Most of us matched at least.

We ventured out around 6pm, being met with way too many empty roads.

Seven pm however.. was overwhelming.
Lights were BLARING across streets, houses that had lines wrapping around its own shoulder! Had to wait 5 minutes just to get candy.

Almost got on a truck for a ride around too (suspicious I know), but it had a massive inflatable on it with lights and music surrounding it! Got stopped by Katie, though. 🙁

My favorite part of the night besides all that was this one big house. The driveway was the place where candy was handed out. Surrounding it was people in costumes. Scaring people.
I so happened to get scared by a child… dressed as M3GAN. She ran up to me, saying to make sure this guy (Someone dressed as Art the Clown) doesn’t come onto their property. I offer a smile and say something positive in response. ..She didn’t hear me and thought I said something bad about her. In return she yelled “What was that?!” and booked it back to me. I never ran so fast down a sidewalk until that day. Jumpscared by a girl holding some steel-like stick that was sparking fire at me. Great day! Traded so much candy with friends, and passed out the moment I was home.
