Being an auto or diesel mechanic can be tough but knowing how to start and getting efficient can lead to a good career.
Step 1: If you can, take auto repair at your high school, then go into a trade school or a community college that offers a degree, after that you may transfer to a 4 year university to further your education or go straight into the workforce.
Step 2: Once you get enough experience you will start to make money and are able to get ASE certified, whether that’s in diesel/agriculture equipment, auto, or all the above, certifications go a long way.
This is a short summary on what to do but in order to do everything you need expirience, and in order to do everything you need to research how to do oil changes, etc.
