So, why Minesweeper?
Minesweeper is a game where you clear squares and flag mines! The numbers on the squares determine how many mines are around the square. So, if you have a square with a one, one of the eight squares around it have a mine. If you flagged a mine next to it and it is right, perfect! That one is solved, and you can clear every open square around it. This applies to every number up to eight, which is the highest number you can get.
So, why do I find it so good?
It is so simple, yet so challenging! There are a variety of patterns, many strategies, and a variety of board sizes. The differences in the gameplay loop and challenges keep me coming back for more, despite how much I keep exploding due to boards being extremely evil…
