Paul McCartney born on June eighteenth-nineteen forty two in the town of Liverpool, England, is an English musician popularly known for being the bass player and keyboardist for The Beatles and joined in July nineteen-fifty seven when The Beatles was originally called The Quarrymen and left the Beatles on April tenth nineteen-seventy. Growing up Paul played several instruments such as the piano, trumpet, and acoustic guitar and the reason he played the bass for The Beatles was because the original bass player for The Beatles Stuart Sutcliffe left the band so Paul decided to replace him with himself. Four very popular songs Paul wrote for The Beatles were “Hey Jude,” “Let It Be,” “Blackbird,” and “Helter Skelter.” After leaving The Beatles Paul would go on to do his solo career and even create another band named “Wings” where he would release some popular songs such as “Live And Let Die,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Band On The Run,” “Silly Love Songs,” “Coming Up,” and “Mull Of Kintyre.” Paul would collaborate with other famous musicians such as Stevie Wonder and together they made the song “Ebony And Ivory” and Paul also collaborated with Michael Jackson where they would create the song “The Girl Is Mine.” Paul McCartney is now eighty-three years old.
