The Rolling Stones are an English rock band that formed in London in 1962 and the members are vocalist Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts. They were active in the band for over sixty years they are one of the most popular and influential bands of the rock era of the nineteen-sixties they are also known for pioneering gritty, rhythmically, driven sound that came to define hard rock They would be identified with the youthful counterculture of the nineteen-sixties. In nineteen sixty six they would create three songs “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction,” “Get Off My Cloud,” and “Paint It Black” which became international number one hits within that same year they would create their debut album “Aftermath” which is regarded as one of the most important albums of all time. In the late sixties they would create some single hits such as “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” in nineteen sixty eight and “Honky Tonk Women” in nineteen sixty nine. Brian Jones would leave the band a few weeks before his death in nineteen sixty nine and replaced by guitarist Mick Taylor. That same year it was the first time they would be introduced on stage as “the greatest rock and roll band in the world”
